God Wants You to Be Consistent

Hi all, and happy first day of Spring!

I just wanted to drop you all a quick note about the importance of consistency.

Consistency is something that I’ve struggled with for as long as I can remember, and I struggle with it even now. Whether it’s consistency with how I eat, working out, or even getting into the Word of God on a consistent basis, I’ve struggled with it.

Consistency is a big focus for me this year. I need to improve. It’s something that I’m hoping this March challenge will help me with and help all of you with, especially when it comes to working out and focusing on increasing your strength and lean muscle mass.

I turned 44 years old today, and I feel healthy.

Not just physically but emotionally, mentally, and spiritually as well, but the truth is, I can always strive to be better. I want to improve my consistency to try to put myself in a better position to do the work that God has tasked me to do in this life.

God Wants You to Be Consistent

God says in 1 Corinthians 15:58, “Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”

I know that the hard work that I put in to eat better, get stronger, and become a more steadfast and knowledgeable Christian is hard work that is not in vain because I am doing these things to glorify God and walk the path that He has laid out for me.

And although this work is hard, changing your way of eating and putting in the work to get stronger, it will not be in vain for you either. The healthier you are, the better the world becomes because you are putting yourself in a position to serve God better and do the work that He has laid out for you as well.
