New Book Recommendation
Hey everyone!
I just wanted to pass along a new book recommendation. I recently finished the book, Toxic Superfoods by Sally K. Norton and it’s all about the hidden dangers of plant super foods, specifically the impact of oxalate on the body.
If you haven’t had an opportunity to read it, I definitely recommend taking the time to do that. If you’re not a huge fan of reading or don’t feel like you have the time for that, it’s available as an audio book as well. I actually listened to this one on Audible and it was worth it. I learned quite a bit about the impact of oxalates on the body, which “super foods” are actually super bad for humans, and what to do to start lowering the oxalate load on my body.
I’ve spent a lot of time studying the impact of anti-nutrients on the body but this book really helped to provide me with even greater insight into the damage eating foods like spinach, celery, almonds, even black pepper can have on my body. It definitely reinforced that I am on the right path with focusing on eating high-quality animal protein (steak is the real super food!).
